One of the visions of creating this Sports Index was to enable “Grass Roots" Sporting Clubs to be able to communicate with each other and exchange ideas on how to manage a sports club.

An additional value is seen in this web site having a function for sports players and administrators at “Grass Roots” level to discuss things that are of concern. These thoughts are all worthy of comment and will be open to people from all sporting codes.

It is a well known fact that in today’s world that club administrators face common problems, such as a lack of volunteer helpers and diminishing cash resources.

A club web site that represents all aspects of the Club activities, as well as promoting itself to the wider commercial market, will then become an aid for the benefit of their Club and local community.

To promote this awareness and assisting an increasing number of New Zealanders having access to Clubs of all types will help strengthen our sporting culture.
