The Pat Riggs Memorial Day started 6 years ago in a game between Bay Roskill and Ports of Auckland at Ellerslie League Club.

Ports of Auckland was where Pat Riggs worked and they shared in our loss of a Great Man, Team Mate, Father, Husband, Brother and Friend to all.

The Pat Riggs Day is where the very best players who have played for Bay Roskill making themselves available to honour this occasion. Bay Roskill over the years have never been beaten.

After the Game it is quickly forgotten who won as the Food, Beer and Music help us to all remember Pat and how lucky we were to have had him in our lives.

Teams who will be playing in the 2010 Memorial Day are: Papatoetoe – Manukau Greenlane – Manukau Cougars – Mt Wellington – Mt Albert – Marist – New Lynn Stags – Manurewa and of course Bay Roskill.

All Club Members, Supporters and Family are welcome on this day.
