| Manurewa Tennis Club is one of Auckland's oldest tennis clubs having been established originally as Manurewa Lawn Tennis Club in 1909. The club is located on Russell Road adjoining the Manurewa Recreation Centre and the croquet club. We have six recently resurfaced hard courts and a full range of facilities. |

| Currently the club has five senior teams and six junior teams and a Midweek Ladies team. The club would like next season to enter more teams in Interclub and encourage new members to join the club. |

| The resurfacing of the courts has been the result of a huge effort from Club Members and a special mention of thanks goes to Malcom Sinclair and Jan Larsen, who obtained the funding and liaised with the Council. During the construction phase Charles Woolley has ensured things ran smoothly. |

| We have over 150 members and cater for all levels of play from social to interclub. We have 6 recently resurfaced hard courts. The Club operates from September to March of the tennis season with winter tennis available on demand. |

| Court Keys are available for a small fee to allow members to use the courts as required. |
| The club operates on a voluntary committee basis with a Senior Committee headed by a President and a Junior Committee. A coach is contracted each year for coaching for our junior members. |
